Little Rock

Hey, everyone, thought I'd share some information about Little Rock here at Arkansas HQ.

If you are new to this state you should probably know first and foremost that Little Rock is the capital of the state and the county seat for Pulaski County.

Let's start at the beginning...the city was incorporated on November 7, 1831, which means it's been around awhile and as such is the cultural center of Arkansas. It is almost smack dab in the middle of the state, as well.

Besides seeing the "Little Rock" formation on the river the area is named after, there is lots to see and do. And it stands to reason as the city is some 116 square miles. From art and culture, museums and theater to music and food festivals there's plenty to do. And, if you're into sports...we've got you covered there, too. From the Arkansas Travelers, a professional minor league baseball team, to the Arkansas Twisters, and Arkansas RimRockers you have plenty of action.

I will be adding more and more information to this page related to Little Rock, you can be sure. But for now, if you want to know more be sure and check out this page and you'll also want to go here.
